Well it was only raining alittle bit when i met up with Clive, Leigh, Lisa and Sarah at tescos on my bike! (they were in the Disco!). Once out on the Poole road, the rain stopped before Bere regis and even the roads were drier, leading up to Bakers arms, it hadn't rained at all it looked like! Of course should not of thought that, cos within a mile of passing Bakers arms roundabout, the heavens opened and it bucketed, i'm sure i could hear Clive and the crew in the Discovery behind me laughing! Luckily only a shower and it stopped few miles later, but had that 'damp' feeling...gear kept me dry but was wet and heavy!
On leading Clive in the correct direction(luckily for him, as he thought he had to head in opposite direction) we arrived at Honda of Bournemouth to be presented with all the bikes outside on display, impressive sight indeed, even got Lisa(with her Suzuki t shirt on) impressed with a few bikes! Then a good look round the bikes and gear and laid on food and beer, the catwalk started, with models(honda b'mouth staff) posing in various alpinestars gear. Some very good looking(but expensive) and other what seemed to be less practicle biking gear, but a good show overall. We all tried on various jackets and gloves and liked some (the most expensive) and disliked others until the raffle in which eight prizes were available to the people who turned up. Guess who won a free service, thats right the only one of us who could not use it, poor old Leigh :? When he took it to the desk they even asked if he wanted to book it now!
The rain had stopped and Clive assured me he knew his way home, so we wandered on, with for me, was an excellent dry ride home, apart from the 2nd roundabout from Honda when i opened the throttle bit too quick(yes Leigh even on my Transalp!) coming off the roundabout and the rear way migrating sideways, woke me up then a great ride back!

Slapper!
